Rem is young, but a hard life has sketched wisdom beyond her few short years on this earth. She is careful, but confident in her experience; she will rarely gamble, unless she knows she stands a very good chance at winning. For this reason, she has a fairly healthy appearance, despite running solo.

She can seem icy and ruthless offhand, but this just illustrates rule number one in the loner’s handbook: Rem comes first, always. She is not above fighting – and fighting dirty, at that. She will do whatever it takes to put the odds in her favor, even if it means to cut and run.

It takes quite a bit to win Rem over and even longer to triumph over her ever-present suspicion. She does not allow herself to become too open with anybody, but knows well how to feed carefully weighed tidbits in order to maintain a spectrum of relationships.

Overall, this is one she-wolf who should not be trusted. She is clever and charismatic, and would make an exceptionally strong leader if she could set aside her selfishness. As it stands now, however, she’d throw even her closest ally to the crows if it meant another day of survival.

Pre-Group History:
Rem's mother was a loner, like herself. Hardy and careful, she taught her only surviving daughter how to endure the hardships of the lifestyle. Together, they cut quite a fine living. The hard years caught up with her mother, however, and the elder she-wolf elected to join a pack. Her daughter, a healthy young specimen, was also invited to join, but the young Rem declined, as her instincts honed to the loner lifestyle.
Since then, she’s been wandering where she pleases. Occasionally, she’ll join up with another loner or take a consort for short periods of time, but it’s only a means to an end, and it never lasts.
